I ran an interstitial adventure/side quest for one of my crews this week. It was a surprise mission (two members out at the last minute) so I hit the ‘break glass for emergency plots’ part of my brain and had tremendous fun.
The crew was escorting a Vorta to collect an asset that had been ordered to stand down, as part of the peace treaty.
It turned out the Vorta’s asset…was a Founder.
A Founder, like Odo, who did not know what he was, and wasn’t sure he wanted to go back.
Morally ambiguous choices, anyone?
My crew were his sounding board, helping to decide whether to go back or not.
That was a great side-quest.
How did it end? Doesn’t matter… How would YOU advise a foundling Founder?
